POSITION TITLE: Marketing Coordinator (MC) DIRECT REPORT: Senior Marketing Manager (Sr.MM) POSITION LEVEL: Entry-Level Sales and Marketing POSITION STATUS: Full-time, hourly position COMPENSATION: Hourly rate: $14.50 BONUS/COMMISSION STRUCTURE: 5% commission on Solace magazine ad sales JOB DESCRIPTION: AHC+Hospitality has an immediate opening for a Marketing Coordinator responsible for supporting and executing marketing initiatives and ancillary programs for the company, specifically ad partnership development for Solace Magazine and Solace TV. This individual will work in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager and in-house Graphic Designer by providing support with collateral development, digital reputation management and project management tasks as assigned by the Senior Marketing Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Sell and cultivate new advertising partnerships for Solace Magazine and Solace TV; oversee the program’s administration, billing, delivery, and maintain existing ad partner relationships. • Execution of day-to-day marketing tasks and manage the Marketing departments project fulfillment coordination. • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with the daily monitoring, responding, content collection, development and publishing of brand experience messaging across a portfolio of digital channels. • Manage the execution of consumer survey studies and handle result tabulation; as well as collect market segment research as assigned by the Senior Marketing Manager. • Assist the internal Graphic Designer with projects ranging from photo shoots and photo editing to designing in-house collateral pieces, PowerPoint presentations, and copywriting. • Internal digital asset management. MARKETING COORDINATOR Page 2 QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 2-3 years in a hospitality related field with sales or marketing experience is preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing is required. Previous experience selling magazine ads is a plus. Candidates should be positive, self-motivated, independent creative thinkers who are goal driven and eager to learn new skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: • Established sales and networking skills • Strong presentation skills and enjoys connecting with new people • Well-organized and detail oriented • Exceptional communication and writing skills • Must be able to support deliverables, with strong follow-through • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player in a collaborative environment • Basic understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite • Knowledge of hospitality industry with a spirit to serve and love of travel BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurances, complimentary meals, and discounted parking. 401k plan participation available after 3 months.
